  What a beautiful place practically in the middle of nowhere - no signal therefore a perfect spot to run away from the busy city to! We only stayed for one... read more night, and it was lovely!

The place itself looks even better than in the pictures, it's super clean and cozy, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathtub is just an absolute dream!

Claire was super helpful and acommodating, a very good communicator, and she kindly left us a surprise in the fridge for our arrival. Will definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time round!

Claire's communication with us was brilliant even though she was away . We simply could not have asked for anything else .
If you are looking for a place to reset and recharge Robins Nest is the place to stay.

The place was absolutely spotless and the location couldn’t be better with easy access to local walks, National Trust places, great pubs and of course, Bath. Claire is a great host and provided all the essentials; she couldn’t have been more helpful and provided lots of helpful information. A great find and I can’t recommend Claire and Robin’s Nest highly enough. We came away feeling rested and well looked after.

Plan on bringing plenty of books because the quaint and beautiful surroundings provide the perfect environment for jumping into your favorite novel. Also plan on bringing your walking shoes because there are multiple public footpaths nearby leading to idyllic villages .
My wife and I, along with our 2 year old, enjoyed 5 days here. If you’re bringing a child just know you can have enough space; although, you may need to get a little creative for sleeping arrangements if you require a pack-n-play. The bedroom is very large though so you’ll have plenty of space to work with. Speaking of children, the host graciously purchased a high chair to accommodate our visit, after finding out we were bringing our toddler and the property wasn’t equipped with one already. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. We can’t wait to return .

  Robin's Nest is a dream. We went to the Costwolds for the first time and the only danger of staying at Claire's place is that you wouldn't want to leave... read more ever. It is a lovely little house with all the modern amenities you may need. It has been decorated with taste and love, every detail is carefully chosen. The surroundings of the house are magical. We could have just wander around instead of going on trips to the Cotswold towns. But saying that, you can easily drive around the area to most little towns and be back in short time, even to the ones further away. Castle Combe, which is the nearest destination, is absolutely stunning. It appears to your eyes magically from another time, perfectly preserved and beautifully maintained.
Claire is a lovely host, always alert to anything you may need. The house was impeccable. Everything spotless and giving that rare feeling of being new but , at the same time, being home. Thanks Claire and family! One of the most beautiful places we've stayed!

The cottage itself is beautiful, with warm homely touch’s, and everything you need…even bubbles and chocolates waiting for us on arrival! The recommendations in the guidebook for local walks and country pubs were as fabulous as our stay.

The communication from the host was great too, the perfect balance between providing enough information and letting you really enjoy your time and space.

Thoroughly look forward to returning and cannot recommend enough.

The location is the perfect mix of being rural so that it is relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle but also within 10/15 minutes drive of a handy retail park. We had a nice walk out on the Saturday to Castle Combe which was very picturesque. Would recommend this listing as a whole any anyone looking for a chilled weekend away.

Claire and Andy were incredible hosts... read more who went out of their way to accommodate us and were extremely helpful with local recommendations. They were super communicative and quick to respond, making sure that we had everything we needed upon arrival. They even stocked the fridge for us with a few groceries that we had requested beforehand. Robin's Nest itself was amazing. Sitting tucked away in a quaint and charming hamlet, it served as the perfect getaway from London. Inside the home, it was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. All the appliances worked and were quite modern. There is a direct walk to Castle Combe that cuts through a lush and peaceful forest, which makes it a fantastic hidden gem if you're looking to be close to local attractions but want to escape the crowds. Honestly, Robin's Nest is quite simply one of the best places you'll have the chance to stay away from home. Do yourself a favor and book a spot here ASAP!
