A wonderful stay- very lovely accommodation with amazing walks nearby! Also lots of lovely pubs. The host was so helpful. Really recommend this place.
Claire's hospitality and the tranquil setting of Robin's Nest are both exceptional and without equal.
From the fizz that was left for us to the completely brand new and fully furnished comfy conversion, this is everything you need for a Cotswolds getaway.
If you're a couple looking for some peace in the country, look no further!
We had a two night stay at Robin’s Nest. The Nest is immaculate, peaceful, very relaxing, with everything you could need for the perfect break.
Location is great. Castle Combe is nearby, a short drive or a decent walk. Once there you can enjoy a coffee, something to eat or drink, or enjoy the pretty village.
Peaceful cottage, beautiful countryside nearby and really clean. Found the bed to be very hard, so took some getting used to but in spite of that a lovely place to stay! Thanks for having us Claire
We had a wonderful relaxing time at Robins nest, the place is beautiful spotless and after staying in quite a few Airbnb’s I’d say Robins nest is definitely on the luxurious side of properties we have stayed in which makes it quite good value for money, key word here is relaxing, it’s very tranquil and ideal if your seeking a bit of solitude but with the option right there if you fancy some social interactions there are pubs cafes within walking distance and the walks to and from these places are beautiful and easy to navigate, you can tell from staying in the place a lot of time and effort has been put into Robins nest which is great to see and makes you feel welcome and appreciated as a guest, it’s places like this why we use Airbnb so much, so what are you waiting for book up you won’t regret it!

Robin's Next is a beautiful place in a stunning location with plenty of walks from the front door.
We stayed for 3 nights with a great walk to Castle Combe and finishing up at The Bell Inn pub at Keynell. The food and the service there was really good.
We also had a great evening meal at The White Hart in Ford which you can walk to.
Communication with Claire was excellent
I cannot recommend this place enough, we will definitely be returning.
The Nest was a wonderful retreat away for us and our baby. It was clean, inviting, super quiet and had all the amenities you could need; a great place to escape for 2 nights.
Claire was a wonderful host. Always on hand via text message for any queries we had.
We wish we could’ve stayed longer but we will definitely be back again!
An amazing little cottage in a beautiful town, the place was immaculately clean and the host was extremely friendly and accommodating!
This is a beautiful place and a peaceful stay in a stunning location. Robins nest had everything we needed and much much more. We stayed for two nights and went on plenty of walks visiting the surrounding areas. Castle Combe was a splendid walk with beautiful settings and a lovely pub lunch at the white hart. Claire was a very attentive host even though we didn’t get to meet as she was away. Would definitely stop again, highly recommend.
This is a beautiful and secluded place to take a holiday. Everything has been finished to a high standard and tastefully decorated. Everything you could possibly need is supplied. Communication with owner Claire is also first rate.
I cannot recommend this place enough...I will definitely be returning.
Stunning location and handy location, immaculate property and the host couldn't have been any more helpful or considerate. Upon arrival, cold drinks along with treats for the children were left.
We will definitely be returning in the future and recommending to friends and family.
The most beautiful house in the most amazing, tranquil and scenic setting. Claire and Andy were so welcoming, attentive and thoughtful, such lovely people. We felt right at home staying at Robins Nest. So much to do but equally can do nothing but relax and have an amazing time! A deeply relaxing trip away, away from busy everyday life! A true ‘get away’. We will be back soon!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Robins nest! It’s such a beautiful space in a wonderful setting! It was just what we needed, quiet and in the middle of nowhere. We felt very rested and relaxed when we left.
We stayed for 3 nights. We had a day in Bath, which we parked at the Lansdown park and ride (20 min drive from Robins nest). Then we had a day which we walked to Castle Combe, spent a couple of hours there having lunch and walking around, then came back to the nest to relax. I can recommend the rolltop bath for an afternoon soak!
We went to the White Hart in Ford for an evening meal on our second night and it was absolutely fantastic, we definitely recommend a visit! Keeping with that theme we also had lunch at the White Hart in Castle Combe during our visit there, that was nice too.
Claire was such a fantastic host, the communication was fantastic from booking, to a few days before our stay started, on the day of our stay and during. She could not do enough for us, she was an absolutely wonderful host. We would love to come back one day in the future.
Robin's Nest is in beautiful Long Dean, with walks right from the door, Castle Combe is a short but pretty walk.
Claire was a great host and the Nest itself was lovely. Very clean, well equipped and spacious. I would definitely recommend to friends. Thanks Claire!
We spent one week at Claire’s lovely property and we could have stayed longer, it went so fast.
The property allows for a good base to explore the area, but also a relaxing spacious place, that we stayed in one whole day and did nothing. Neither of us have had any time off work for 10 months and we needed it.
There are so many places to visit in the surrounding area, so many hidden gems to explore, we visited towns, villages, found some lovely restaurants and friendly people everywhere. Recommend the Castle Coombe and Nettleton Mill Circular walk right from the front door. You can easily get to many of the listed usual Cotswolds recommended sights and easy access to Bath. We also recommend Lacock and Cirencester and you drive through the most picturesque areas.
It had everything we needed, clean, excellent shower pressure, comfortable bed, good tv during the football and excellent wifi as I needed to have a 2 hour zoom work meeting. We cooked some meals and went out to eat, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. There’s supermarkets 10 minutes drive away, so no need to stock up too much. Claire’s suggested the Allington Farm shop and it did the most amazing breakfast, shame we only visited it in our last day.
Totally silent, no traffic noise or street lights at night, really relaxing stay, best sleep I’ve had in a while.
Castle Combe is a short walk away and IMO the most stunning of all areas we visited.
I would recommend this place to stay, it was just what we needed.
What a beautiful place! Just as the photos of not better.
The place was absolutely spotless so extremely Covid secure! Everything worked as it should and we loved the rugs by the bedsides too very nice touch.
Only problem was we had to leave… hope to be back soon
I highly recommend Robin’s Nest cottage! My partner and I had a wonderful trip and were left feeling very relaxed.
The cottage is surrounded by lovely walks and views. It’s walking distance to Castle Combe and a couple of great pubs. There is also a lush farm shop a short drive away.
Claire was a wonderful, kind and thoughtful host who went above and beyond. Communication was great and we felt very welcome.
Thank you! ☺️
Robin's Nest is a fantastic stay, located off the beaten track so you feel you are away on a retreat, yet walking distance to some country pubs and beautiful Castle Combe! I would definitely recommend a stay at Robin's Nest!
My stay at Robin’s nest was fantastic. A gorgeous place in a lovely secluded location, with great walks and pubs nearby. Claire was so accommodating and communicative.
Wow, what a beautiful location and property! The hosts were excellent communicators and made us feel at home, from the bubbly to welcome us in to the pair of “hotel” slippers that awaited us on entry to the bedroom. Plan on bringing plenty of books because the quaint and beautiful surroundings provide the perfect environment for jumping into your favorite novel. Also plan on bringing your walking shoes because there are multiple public footpaths nearby leading to idyllic villages .
My wife and I, along with our 2 year old, enjoyed 5 days here. If you’re bringing a child just know you can have enough space; although, you may need to get a little creative for sleeping arrangements if you require a pack-n-play. The bedroom is very large though so you’ll have plenty of space to work with. Speaking of children, the host graciously purchased a high chair to accommodate our visit, after finding out we were bringing our toddler and the property wasn’t equipped with one already. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. We can’t wait to return .
